Boards are the foundation of Non-Profit Organizations, and we could not go forward without them! Individual Board members are generally leaders in their community and are often very busy. At times, Board members roles and responsibilities are not always clear to them, and may shift as the organization grows and changes. We can provide training to help Boards understand their role, address these changes and maximize their involvement and return on investment.

Provide training to Board members (new and old) on roles and responsibilities, review bylaws as needed, discuss best practices, answer questions

Vision and Strategy

Board members oversee the big picture of the organization and work with the Executive Director who manages the day-to-day operations. It can be useful to have conversations between the Board, Executive Director and Staff to ensure everyone is on the same page and moving in the same direction when it comes to vision, strategy and growth. A consultant can bring in an outsiders perspective and facilitate those conversations.

Fundraising

Board members are often required to fund-raise to support the organization. We can provide tools to increase engagement and include Board members as part of the overall organizational fundraising strategy.
