HR 9495 passed the House last week and moved to the Senate. It is unlikely to pass the Senate this term but it will likely come back for a vote in the next Congress. This bill would be destructive to non-profits, as it is deliberately vague and grants a lot of authority to the Treasury Secretary to revoke 501(c)(3) status from organizations.
